About the Dentist
As the owner of North Texas Equine Dentistry, Dena is a very dedicated, no non-sense, upfront, equine dental practitioner who brings many years of knowledge, experience and expertise to the fascinating field of equine dentistry. Dena is a very well respected equine dental practitioner (non-dvm) among the veterinary and equine community, has over 17 years combined experience in veterinary and human dentistry, remains very active in legislation addressing bills that affect the practice of equine dentistry, the horse owner's right to choose and continues to educate and pass on her knowledge to everyone.

1. Graduate of the Texas Institute of Equine Dentistry
2. NEDA Certified Equine Dental Practitioner
3. B.S. Degree in Veterinary Technology
4. A.A.S. Degree in Human Dentistry
5. Dental Radiology Certified by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners
6. Extensive background in training, breaking and showing horses.
